Data Transfer Hurdles Have Companies Hedging Bets

Daniel Cooper is quoted in The Wall Street Journal’s “Morning Risk Report” discussing how companies should best comply with global data protection regulations. Commenting on the binding corporate rule process, Cooper said,“The one thing we know about binding corporate rules is [they tend] to have more appeal to European regulators.” He continues, “For a lot of companies I think it might be seen as a little bit of a safer bet.”
