Matt Nicholls is an associate in the Washington office, where he practices in the White Collar Defense and Investigations group. He represents corporations in cross-border criminal and regulatory enforcement proceedings by the Department of Justice and other federal and state enforcement agencies.

Matt maintains an active pro bono practice focused on veterans law and asylum.

Prior to joining Covington, Matt served in the United States Army and completed tours of duty in Afghanistan and Korea.
