Philip May is a litigator who represents a variety of clients in high-stakes patent litigation and investigation matters, and also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Mr. May has experience representing clients at various stages of litigation, from case inception through to final judgment. His experience in patent litigation includes both jury trials and bench trials, in both federal district court and before agencies. He has also clerked in both the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

  • Investigation of a pharmaceutical company relating to anti-corruption issues.
  • Representation of a major manufacturer of sonar devices in patent litigation at the International Trade Commission and associated federal district court litigation.
  • Representation of a major manufacturer of GPS devices in patent litigation in the District of Nevada resulting in a victory at a jury trial.
