Katarzyna Lasinska, a New York licensed attorney, is a policy advisor in the Public Policy and Government Affairs practice. Ms. Lasinska advises clients on EU public policy strategy and regulatory law with a particular focus on media, internet, and technology.

Ms. Lasinska was previously legal research assistant to Amal Clooney of Doughty Street Chambers, whom she assisted on complex matters of international law and human rights. Prior to this, she worked at the European Union Intellectual Property Office and the International Criminal Court.

  • Assistance with drafting submissions to the European Court of Human Rights, where lead counsel represented a journalist alleging an unfair trial following months of unjustified pre-trial detention.

  • Member of a defence team in a case before the International Criminal Court (ICC).
  • Researching and drafting a comparative memorandum on hate speech in international law for a non-profit organisation.
  • Missing Children Europe – European Federation for Missing and Exploited Children. It represents 23 Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) active in 16 Member States of the European Union. Each of these organisations is active in cases of missing and/or exploited children at grass-roots level, including prevention and support for victims.
