Solomon Kim is an accomplished trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor who represents clients in complex commercial litigation, internal investigations, and government enforcement matters. Drawing on his extensive experience trying cases to verdict and leading federal investigations, he provides strategic counsel to clients facing sensitive disputes, regulatory scrutiny, and business-critical risk.
Solomon previously served for nearly seven years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, where he was a member of both the Major Frauds Section and the National Security Division. During his tenure, he tried nine cases, briefed multiple matters before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and led more than 100 federal grand jury investigations. He routinely handled some of the most sensitive and high-profile cases involving white-collar and national security issues.
As a member of the Major Frauds Section, Solomon prosecuted sophisticated white-collar matters involving wire fraud, investor fraud, securities fraud, healthcare fraud, kickbacks, tax offenses, and money laundering, and served as the Healthcare Fraud Coordinator. Earlier in his tenure, Solomon was a member of the National Security Division where he led sensitive, cross-border investigations involving export control and sanctions violations, trade secret theft, economic espionage, bribery, terrorism, and counterintelligence offenses, and acted as the Foreign Malign Influence Coordinator. His work frequently involved multinational corporations, technology companies, and financial institutions, and required coordination with domestic and international enforcement authorities. In recognition of his contributions, Solomon received two FBI Director’s Certificate Awards – considered among the highest honors granted by the FBI.
Before becoming a federal prosecutor, Solomon served as a law clerk to judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
