Yuyang (Kate) Hu

Kate is an associate in the firm’s Palo Alto office. She advises clients on technology transactions, venture capital financings, and other corporate transactions. She also assists emerging companies with general corporate matters.

Kate also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on nonprofit organization’s corporate governance matters.

Kate earned her J.D. from University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where she was a student researcher for the Institute for Technology, Law & Policy focusing on AI regulation, privacy policies, and regulatory matters regarding social media platforms.
