Juliette Huard-Bourgois is knowledge counsel in the firm's International Arbitration and Disputes Practice Group based in London. A double qualified lawyer trained in both civil and common law traditions, Juliette is admitted in England and Wales and in Paris (France).
Juliette works with practice group lawyers (and their clients) to help meet their disputes training and practice development needs. She specializes in international litigation, commercial arbitration, investor-state dispute settlement and public international law.
Juliette has advised clients in complex international disputes arising from cross-border transactions and investments, across a wide range of sectors (including energy, infrastructure, natural resources, technology, hospitality, and shipping) and under major arbitral rules (ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL, SIAC, AAA, LMAA).
Before entering private practice, Juliette clerked at the English Court of Appeal, gained regulatory experience at the European Commission, and taught postgraduate students at the School of International Arbitration, Queen Mary University of London.
