Greg Halperin is a litigation associate whose practice focuses on complex product liability and mass tort cases, with particular experience representing clients in the life sciences industry. Mr. Halperin has experience representing clients at all stages of litigation, including fact and expert discovery, Daubert and dispositive briefing, trial, and appeal.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Halperin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul V. Niemeyer on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

  • Represents several leading pharmaceutical manufacturers in product liability litigations in state and federal court.
  • Authored several amicus curiae briefs regarding the impact of innovator liability on the branded pharmaceutical industry.
  • Authored successful amicus curiae brief on behalf of several life sciences trade groups on the preemptive effect of the FDA’s denial of a citizen petition.
  • Secured multimillion dollar arbitration award for a branded pharmaceutical company against its generic competitor for breach of a license agreement.

Pro Bono

  • Successful representation of a federal detainee in habeas corpus proceedings before the Fourth Circuit.
