    Jared Frisch is a partner in Covington's DC office specializing in complex patent trials spanning the U.S. district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

    Jared has litigated matters involving liquid crystal displays (LCD), organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays, light emitting diode (LED) packaging, semiconductors, central processing units (CPUs), graphics processing units (GPUs), micro-electromechanical system (MEMs) microphones, radio-frequency identification (RFID), software security, coated steel automotive parts, pharmaceutical products, and DNA technologies.

    As a member of multiple jury and bench trial teams, Jared has played a key role in all stages of litigation. Jared has extensive fact and expert deposition experience, has argued at discovery and claim construction hearings, and has conducted direct examination of a key technical expert at trial.  As part of a trade secret arbitration team, Jared helped secure a complete defense win on behalf of a major pharmaceutical company in the face of a $1.8 billion demand.
