Katharina Ewert is an associate in the London Life Sciences group. Ms. Ewert advises major national and multinational companies in the pharmaceutical, medical device, food, and cosmetics sectors on regulatory and contentious matters.

Ms. Ewert’s regulatory advisory practice encompasses the advertising and promotion of medicines; health and nutritional claims for foods and food supplements, as well as marketing claims for cosmetics. Ms. Ewert also advises clients public procurement law and represents clients in administrative proceedings in the English and EU Courts.

  • Representation of pharmaceutical clients in appeal proceedings before the European Court of Justice relating to the transparency of data under the Transparency Regulation (EC) 1049/2001.
  • Representation of a global pharmaceutical company in proceedings before the European General Court relating to the suspension of a marketing authorization for a medicinal product.
