Lindsey Barnhart

Focusing on complex class actions and commercial litigation, Lindsey Barnhart has handled matters involving a range of issues, such as consumer protection, breach of contract, warranty, fraud, and intellectual property claims.

Lindsey works with clients in the technology, sports, consumer brands, and financial services industries, among others, using her substantive experience in all stages of litigation, including:

• dispositive motions;
• fact and expert discovery;
• class certification;
• summary judgment;
• trial; and
• appeals.

Lindsey has first-chaired dozens of depositions and argued discovery and dispositive motions in both federal and state court for clients. She has a strong track record of success on early dispositive motions. In addition, Lindsey maintains an active pro bono practice, which includes the successful representation of transgender individuals in civil rights lawsuits and defense of the co-founders of a national racial justice organization in litigation in several states.

Prior to practicing law, Lindsey was an investment analyst in the mutual fund industry.
