NEW YORK—Tomas Rua has been named a 2026 New York Law Journal Rising Star in the Corporate category.
Tomas is a corporate attorney who advises clients on complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), with a particular focus on the technology sector. His practice includes representing public and private companies in a wide range of strategic transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, carve-out transactions, asset purchases and sales, minority investments, and joint ventures.
Throughout his career, Tomas has led numerous high-profile transactions involving both publicly traded and privately held companies. In addition to his M&A practice, he advises companies, boards of directors, and executive leadership teams on corporate governance matters, fiduciary duties, and broader corporate strategy issues.
