LONDON—Covington has ranked first on Law.com International’s UK A-List 2025 for the second year in a row. The ranking recognizes firms based on a combination of factors, both financial and cultural: revenue per lawyer, pro bono commitment, associate satisfaction, racial diversity, and gender diversity.
Covington performed well across all metrics, including a perfect score in pro bono. The firm has appeared in all four editions of the UK A-List since its introduction in 2022.
“This honour reflects the faith our clients put in the firm, and the hard work and dedication of our London lawyers and professional staff,” said James Halstead, Managing Partner of the firm’s London office. “Covington is distinctive in many ways; few competitors can match the depth of our expertise in key sectors, such as technology and life sciences, where our unique mix of transactional, disputes and regulatory capabilities, complemented by the insights of our public policy team, allow us to help clients navigate complex business challenges. This multidisciplinary approach draws upon collaboration between our lawyers across all fourteen offices, and a focus on inclusion that runs deep through the firm’s culture. Together we are able to offer better service to our clients and attract the strongest talent that ensures long term success.”
Founded in 1988, Covington’s London office at 22 Bishopsgate is home to over 130 fee-earners.
