Kate Cahoy Named to Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 40 Under 40

PALO ALTO— The Silicon Valley Business Journal has named Kate Cahoy to its 2025 40 Under 40 list, a recognition of executives under the age of 40 who are making an impact at their organizations and in the community.

Kate is a partner in Covington’s Palo Alto office and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Class Action Practice Group and Technology Industry Group. She uses her substantial class action experience to help clients develop strategic and innovative solutions in complex, high-stakes class action disputes involving privacy, antitrust, and consumer protection claims. Kate has significant experience litigating cases brought under California’s Section 17200 and other consumer protection, competition, and privacy laws, and has successfully represented clients in the technology, entertainment, consumer product, and financial services industries. Kate was previously recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2023 as one of its Most Influential Women in Silicon Valley.
