SAN FRANCISCO— The San Francisco Business Times named Kate Patchen to its Most Influential Women list, honoring 80 of the most powerful, inspiring, and influential women in Bay Area business.
A partner in Covington’s San Francisco office and co-chair of both the firm’s Cartel Defense Practice Group and Civil Antitrust Litigation Practice Group, Kate has more than two decades of experience in global antitrust and competition law. She focuses her practice on government antitrust investigations, antitrust litigation, and antitrust compliance advice and training. Previously, she served as Director and Associate General Counsel of Competition and Litigation at a major technology company and as Chief of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division in San Francisco. She has worked on high-stakes litigation and complex antitrust matters across numerous major industries, including technology, advertising, consumer products, and manufacturing.
