Darren Teshima Joins Covington’s Insurance Practice

SAN FRANCISCO—Darren Teshima, a Chambers-ranked insurance litigator and strategic advisor on insurance coverage, has joined Covington’s Insurance Practice as a partner, located in the firm’s San Francisco office.
From providing counsel on complex insurance programs, to handling high stakes litigation, Darren is known for his creative solutions to client risk management and insurance problems. Darren represents policyholders only, and they regularly seek his advice to improve their insurance and risk management programs and on contested claims, particularly involving cyber, directors & officers, and errors & omissions coverage.

Darren is a leader in the community, currently serving as Board Chair of Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Asian Law Caucus and on the Board of the Legal Services for Children, as well as having previously served on the Board of the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area.
Darren earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Amherst College.
