WASHINGTON—Law360 has named Covington the top firm to its inaugural Pulse Leaderboard of law firms. The ranking is based on a combination of three pillars including, prestige, social impact, and practice footprint.
Law360 Pulse used the scores from its Social Impact Leaders and Prestige Leaders rankings for two of the pillars. Covington ranked first among all firm in the inaugural Social Impact Leaders ranking, which measured firms on pro bono service, racial and ethnic diversity, gender equality, and employee engagement. Covington ranked among the top 20 firms in Law360’s Prestige Leaders rankings, which measured financial strength, attractiveness to law students, Law360 awards received, and positive media representation. The final pillar measured firms’ practice footprints through metrics related to public mergers and acquisitions, registered offerings, and federal district court litigation over a three year span.
