Amy Wollensack Honored by the Metropolitan Black Bar Association

NEW YORKThe Metropolitan Black Bar Association honored Amy Wollensack as its 2019 Private Practitioner of the Year at its 35th Anniversary Gala. This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exemplary leadership and service and commitment to the community at large.

Ms. Wollensack is co-chair of the firm’s Private Equity Practice Group and a member of the Corporate Practice Group. She represents private equity and other corporate clients in a wide range of complex transactions including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, going private transactions, PIPEs, venture capital, and growth equity investments, and other transactional matters.

The Metropolitan Black Bar Association, based in New York, is a unified citywide association of African-American and other minority lawyers, which advances equality and excellence in the pursuit of justice, aids the progress of Blacks and other minorities in the profession, addresses legal issues affecting the citywide community, and fosters the study of law by encouraging the personal and professional development of young lawyers and law students. It is an affiliate of the National Bar Association, the nation's oldest and largest association of African American lawyers and judges.
