WASHINGTON—Global Competition Review has once again named Covington to its 2018 "Global Elite," a list of the top 25 antitrust practices worldwide, as well as including the firm in the list of top ten practices globally for both Mergers and Antitrust Litigation.
Each year, GCR undertakes extensive analysis of antitrust and competition law groups in 50 jurisdictions around the world. In the past, GCR called Covington’s antitrust and competition practice an "international powerhouse”. In this year’s profile of the firm, GCR builds on that theme describing Covington as a firm that “brings a force to its matters that belies its size, particularly in labor-intensive litigation work.” The research also notes that the firm “had a particularly big year for working on deals by technology companies.”
Covington’s Antitrust & Competition practice group regularly guides clients through the complex web of antitrust and competition laws to help them secure their most important business objectives by providing regulatory insight, litigation and investigation representation, and transactional support.
