Covington Named Best Competition Firm at Belgian Legal Awards

BRUSSELS—Covington was named “Best Competition and Antitrust Law Firm” at the Belgian Legal Awards 2017.

Covington has advised on a number of high-profile matters subject to competition issues or inquiries. These include significant matters for Belgian and international clients in a series of Belgian and European merger control, cartel defense, abuse of dominance, and state aid proceedings. The team is also involved with a number of initiatives dedicated to the development of competition law, including as the lead coordinator of the Association of Belgian Competition Lawyers. 

Now in its twelfth year, the Belgian Legal Awards are run in association with Trends magazine and recognize the best legal talent in Belgium. The jury consists of top in-house practitioners across a wide range of industry sectors as well as Trends’ editorial team.
