Covington Expands Communications Group With Addition of Yaron Dori

WASHINGTON, DC, June 10, 2008 — Covington & Burling LLP is pleased to announce that Yaron Dori has joined the firm’s communications and media practice group as of counsel. Mr. Dori will be based in Washington.

Mr. Dori practices primarily in the area of communications and privacy law. He has played key roles in structuring and securing regulatory approvals for mergers, asset acquisitions, and similar transactions. Mr. Dori also has represented clients before federal and state regulatory agencies and Congress in connection with a range of policy issues under the Communications Act and related laws, including those involving “net neutrality,” broadband reform, Internet Protocol-enabled services, the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA), and the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA).

Mr. Dori, a graduate of Brandeis University and Boston College Law School, has practiced in the communications and privacy areas since 1996.
