Tax Practitioner Guy Dingley Joins Covington


LONDON, UK, October 12, 2006   Covington & Burling announced that Guy Dingley has joined the firm as of counsel in the tax group.  He will be resident in the firm's London office.

Mr. Dingley has extensive tax experience in a broad range of substantive areas.  He has advised on a wide range of issues for corporate clients as well as on structuring LBOs and MBOs (representing both private equity houses and management teams).  Mr. Dingley has also advised on the formation of private equity, real estate, and retail investment funds.  In addition, he has experience in the areas of structured finance, real estate, and tax disputes with the UK authorities.

Mr. Dingley received his BA degree from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1991.    He qualified as a solicitor in 1998.  Mr. Dingley joins Covington from the London office of a U.S. based firm, prior to which he worked in the tax department of Linklaters.
