Covington Hires Former EU Judge To Bolster Its Brussels Litigation Capabilities

Nils stated that Covington struck him because of the firm’s longtime regulatory and public policy emphasis.

Touting Nils’ hire, Johan noted he would help the firm bolster its litigation practice. He will be able to advise the firm's lawyers on which arguments work, which arguments do not work, and how best to set up arguments, Johan said. “I think somebody like Nils, with his experience at the court and his stature, will help us immensely,” he added.
