Insurance Recovery Team Receives ALM Litigator of the Week Shout-Out

A Covington Insurance Recovery team received a Litigator of the Week shout-out in AmLaw Litigation Daily for their representation of BBAM, one of the world’s largest aircraft leasing companies, in a lawsuit against a group of companies who have refused to pay claims for planes seized by Russia following its invasion of Ukraine.

The San Francisco Superior Court rejected the insurers’ summary adjudication argument that BBAM had not suffered a physical loss under the terms of the insurance policy.

The team representing BBAM consists of Marty Myers, Darren Teshima, Breanna Jones, Taylor Roberts-Sampson, and Esaú Ruiz. Trial is scheduled for February 2025.
