What SCOTUS Just Did to Broadband, the Right to Repair, the Environment, and More

Ryan Quillian’s commentary was included in an article from The Verge examining how the U.S. Supreme Court’s overturning of the Chevron doctrine will affect various aspects of administrative law and that planned tech regulations by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) could face significant legal hurdles.

Ryan explains that under the Chevron doctrine, “the agency could rely on deference to their interpretation in order to say what constitutes an unfair method of competition.” But with the court’s decision, Ryan said, that effort “could be in jeopardy.”
