Covington Trial Team Receives ALM Litigator of the Week Shout-Out

Covington’s trial team led by Darren Teshima and Gretchen Hoff Varner received a Litigator of the Week shout-out in AmLaw Litigation Daily for their representation of car-sharing company Getaround as it pursues claims against its third-party insurance claims administrator, Broadspire. Eight days into a jury trial in San Francisco Superior Court and the day after Getaround rested its case, Broadspire and Getaround agreed to a settlement.

The Covington team also included Alexander Setzepfandt, Michael Morey, Thomas Martecchini, Samar Amidi, Elizabeth Gorman, and Esaú Ruiz.
