Stephanie Barna, who previously served as a former general counsel of the Senate Armed Services Committee, contributed her insight to an article for Congressional Quarterly News exploring defense industrial base provisions in the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The article examines how U.S. lawmakers are hoping to boost the United States’ defense industrial base with multi-year procurement contracts.

Stephanie added that she was “amazed by Congress' willingness to loosen its grip on some of these multi-year procurement authorities.”
