Amid Russia’s war, America Inc reckons with the promise and peril of foreign markets

David Pinsky was quoted by The Economist regarding steps foreign investors in Russia can take to protect themselves against adverse measures that the Kremlin might take against companies that seek to withdraw from the country, in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

David noted that while some fear that the Kremlin will retaliate against Western companies by seizing their assets in Russia, American companies can restructure to hold their Russian business in a foreign jurisdiction, in order to gain protection from Russia's network of bilateral investment treaties.
