Judge dismisses Quinn’s claims against Covington in complex Ukrainian wrangle

Craig Pollack is quoted in The Lawyer regarding Covington’s recent comprehensive defense win in a multi-billion dollar dispute in the English Commercial Court between two Ukrainian businessmen and the firm’s client, Mr. Oleg Mkrtchan and his related corporate entities. Mr. Pollack says, “The Mkrtchan Parties are delighted that the judge found in their favour on all substantive issues and dismissed both Mr. Taruta’s and Mr. Gaiduk’s claims. This is especially gratifying given that Mr. Mkrtchan was not able to attend court to defend himself personally, given his incarceration.”
