Push to Disclose Foreign Agents Could Ensnare Corporate Executives

Robert Kelner is quoted in The Wall Street Journal regarding the differences between U.S. Department of Justice’s newly unveiled online filing system for foreign agents and the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA). Mr. Kelner says, “This is not an issue just for lobbying firms and public relations firms because FARA sweeps very broadly and applies to corporations as well nonprofit groups. They’re all in the crosshairs.”
