Gridlocked Government May Not Be Bad For Capital Markets

Donald Murray is quoted in Law360 regarding the effect of the 2018 midterm elections on capital markets. Mr. Murray said he spent the past few days discussing the election with bankers, noting that the outcome was anticipated. He adds, “It seems to be full speed ahead for capital markets deals. The pipeline is strong; it seems to continue growing. To my surprise, [the election] doesn’t seem to have had much of an effect on anything.”
