House Bills Could Make IPOs And Private Offerings Easier

November 3, 2017, Law360

Eric Blanchard is quoted in a Law360 article regarding a pair of bills passed by the House of Representatives aimed at making initial public offerings and private offerings easier. Commenting on the Encouraging Public Offerings Act, Blanchard says, while not a "game changer," the bill is helpful. "I am sure people will take advantage of it if it is passed, and it will, for the larger companies, make the U.S. perhaps more attractive as an initial listing," he adds.
