UK data laws enter Facebook era

August 8, 2017, Financial Times

Lisa Peets is quoted in a Financial Times article regarding the EU's new General Data Protection Regulation which will be introduced into UK law later this year. "Under the regulations, the definition of 'personal data' will be extraordinarily broad—any information that is related to a person," says Peets. "Companies are finding out that they are processing a lot more personal data than they had realised."
