Manhattan U.S. Attorney Switch Won't Mean Free Ticket for Wall Street

Arlo Devlin-Brown is quoted by The Street in an article regarding the removal of Preet Bharara from his position as U.S. Attorney General of the Southern District of New York by the Trump Administration and its effect on the future of financial enforcement prosecutions. According to Devlin-Brown, "Historically, U.S. attorneys for the Southern District of New York, whether Republican or Democrat, have made financial crime central to the mission of the office.” He adds, “The Salman decision brings some considerable clarity to insider trading law and is likely going to result in an increase in enforcement action in that area.”
