Donald Trump's Children Won't Have White House Roles

November 17, 2016, The Wall Street Journal

Robert Kelner is quoted by The Wall Street Journal in an article regarding the role of President-elect Donald Trump’s children, and the potential for conflicts of interest. According to Kelner, most federal officials must “recuse themselves from particular matters that would impact their own or a family member’s financial interests,” which would include Mr. Trump’s businesses if Ms. Trump is running them. Kelner adds that the practice isn’t uncommon.
