Cory Trio co-taught a session on the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) as part of the Food and Drug Law Institute's (FDLI's) Introduction to Food Law and Regulation course. Their session covered foundational concepts in USDA's oversight of food products, including USDA's inspectional requirements, labeling requirements, and ingredient approval requirements. he also discussed additional key issues, such as recent developments surrounding USDA and FDA's regulation of cell-cultured meat products, USDA's National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard, and USDA's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
