Covington Supports Williams Institute Reception

Covington was among the supporters of the DC Spring Reception hosted by the Williams Institute, a think tank at UCLA Law dedicated to conducting rigorous, independent research on sexual orientation and gender identity law and public policy. The institute produces high-quality research with real-world relevance and disseminates it to judges, legislators, policymakers, media, and the public. The annual spring reception boosts the institute’s visibility on the East Coast and raises funds for the organization.

The event featured a panel discussion on efforts to ban conversion therapy in the US. It also featured remarks from Congressman Mark Takano and Congressman Hakeem Jeffries.
