Covington Co-Sponsors Lambda Legal's Washington, DC Reception

Lambda Legal hosted its annual Washington event in the Newseum’s Great Hall and Annenberg Theater. This year’s event honored Vanita Gupta, President and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. Special guests included U.S. Senator Cory Booker and keynote speaker Congressman Joe Kennedy III. 

Lambda Legal, a longtime Covington pro bono partner, is one of the largest national legal organizations supporting the civil rights of LGBTQ+ people and those living with HIV, through impact litigation, education, and public policy work.

Covington was a proud sponsor of the reception. Representing Covington at the event was Jean Veta.
