Jean Veta Honored with 2018 LGBTQ Business Leader Award

During its inaugural Business of Pride event, the Washington Business Journal honored Covington partner D. Jean Veta with the 2018 LGBTQ Business Leader Award. The award was given to 20 business leaders in the Washington area who are "blazing the trail for diversity and inclusion in the corporate world."

In the below video, Jean discusses her pro bono efforts that have focused on the LGBT+ community, including "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," advocating for marriage equality, and protecting the rights of transgender students. Jean's profile in the Washington Business Journal can also be found here.
