Covington Hosts the Hispanic Bar Association of DC

Covington’s Hispanic/Latino Affinity Group hosted the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia (HBA-DC) for its annual reception for summer associates, law clerks, and legal interns in the Washington area. The event included a resume workshop followed by a panel discussion and a reception. 

José Arvelo recently served on the board. In May, the HBA-DC was selected as the recipient of the District of Columbia Bar’s 2018 Voluntary Bar Association of the Year award. This award is given in recognition of the extraordinary achievements of HBA-DC in serving its members, the legal profession and the Washington community.
