Covington’s 2016 summer associate program is in full swing. With 92 summer associates across Covington’s domestic offices, this year’s summer associate class is one of Covington’s most diverse yet.
Covington’s summer program offers an immersion into the firm’s practice, exposing them to the firm’s enduring cultural, professional, and technical values.
The Covington summer associate program grants law students the opportunity to work on real assignments for real clients, including drafting briefs, handling complex contracts, and writing policy papers.
Summer associates are also given a chance to get to know each other and our lawyers outside of the office by attending a variety of social activities that are scheduled throughout the season.
“Recruiting, retaining, and supporting women and diverse lawyers reflects the firm’s core beliefs about the value of diversity. Our ongoing recruiting efforts and summer associate programs are an excellent reflection of our values,” commented Mike Imbroscio, co-chair of Covington’s Diversity Initiatives.
