Please join Covington’s Latin America Initiative on Thursday, November 19, at 10:30 a.m. EST for the second of three sessions of our Latin America Series on supply chain relocation to Mexico.

Thanks to its proximity to and close trade relationship with the U.S., Mexico is a key alternative for companies considering relocating supply chains from Asia as a result of geopolitical shifts and other reasons.

This session will focus on key considerations for investing in Mexico, including:

  • Domestic issues and policy changes
  • USMCA: new rules of the game in North American trade
  • Practical business considerations for investing in Mexico
  • Investment protection

The third session will be held on Thursday, December 10. It will address issues specific to investing in Mexico through an acquisition of or a joint venture with a local company.
