The CFPB's Innovation Policies and Initiatives: Charting a Course for Innovation in Consumer Financial Services

Please join Paul Watkins, the Director of the CFPB’s Office of Innovation, and members of Covington’s Financial Services Group to discuss the Bureau’s new innovation policies.

Topics for discussion include:

  • the Bureau’s policies on No-Action Letters and Trial Disclosures;
  • the Bureau’s Compliance Assistance Sandbox;
  • the Bureau’s efforts to create a fintech sandbox and launch of a federal-state network of regulators to promote financial services innovation, the American Consumer Financial Innovation Network; and
  • Model application forms designed by Covington.

This program will be useful to any financial institution interested in exploring participation in the Bureau’s innovation programs.
