Covington Goes Purple for Spirit Day

October 18, 2018

Covington was among the proud supporters of Spirit Day, an annual day of awareness observed on the third Thursday in October. Promoted by GLAAD, Spirit Day inspires people around the world to “go purple” as a visible sign of support for LGBTQ youth and against bullying.

We invited our lawyers and staff to demonstrate their support by wearing purple to work. We also raised awareness to the bullying and harassment disproportionately faced by LGBTQ youth, simply because of their identities.

For more information on Spirit Day, please visit the GLAAD website.
