Covington Co-Sponsors 4th Annual Stanford Law School’s Black Law Student Association Gala

February 28, 2017

Covington lawyers attended Stanford Law School’s Black Law Student Association’s 4th Annual Black History Month Gala on February 17. Every year, the program brings together current students, alumni, and other supporters to celebrate the racial-justice work accomplished and to reflect upon the work remaining to be done.

Covington was proud to be a co-sponsor of the event for the third year in a row. The event began with a cocktail and networking hour, which transitioned to a formal dinner and gala. The audience heard from Stanford Law’s dean, M. Elizabeth Magill, as well as from multiple current BLSA students and political commentator Angela Rye as the keynote speaker.
