As the firm's Chief Operating Officer, John Waters heads the administrative operations for all offices and oversees the integration and strategy of the non-lawyer professionals. He began his career with Covington in 1997. John has worked for large law firms on the east and west coasts and has more than 30 years of experience in law firm management. Prior to law firm management, he worked as a senior auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. and as a Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer in the manufacturing industry. John is a Certified Public Accountant.
