    Jeff Tsai specializes in complex transactions involving intellectual property, technology, and data, particularly in the commercial aviation industry. Jeff also regularly advises clients on the intellectual property aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.

    To help clients achieve business-focused objectives using intellectual property, technology, and data, Jeff leverages his background as a computer engineer and over 15 years of experience advising clients on a wide range of patent matters, including strategic patent portfolio development, patent litigation, post-grant proceedings, patent validity, and freedom-to-operate opinions.

    Jeff holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Columbia University, a degree in Management Engineering from Pitzer College, and obtained his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

    Jeff is a registered patent attorney and a licensed pilot. Mr. Tsai is also qualified as a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe (CIPP/E) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
