    José Maria Rodrigues advises on M&A, private equity, and corporate matters. He regularly works with private equity houses, REITs, pension funds, and big corporates in a broad array of transactions including acquisitions and disposals of private companies, complex joint venture arrangements, growth equity investments, the acquisition of distressed companies and businesses and the acquisition of loan portfolios.

    José’s experience is well diversified and covers multiple sectors including infrastructure, healthcare, a variety of real estate asset classes, energy, financial services, life sciences, technology, gaming, and others. He also has relevant experience with performing and non-performing loan portfolio transactions.

    José’s work is both domestic and cross-border. He has advised on transactions in the UK, Europe, Africa, and Latin America.

    José undertook a one-year secondment at a private equity sponsor working on real estate, loan portfolios, and equity investment transactions as well as on portfolio company matters.
