Eric Robinson advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and venture capital funds in a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, restructuring, and divestitures. He also provides counsel regarding a wide-range of general corporate, securities laws, and corporate governance matters.

  • Representing Uber Technologies, Inc. in connection with its US IPO on the New York Stock Exchange.

Pro Bono

  • Assisted a client in submitting draft rule commentary to the Court of Appeals of Veterans Claims that would ease veterans’ appeals processes.
  • Aided a United States Marine Corps veteran in petitioning the Department of the Navy for a discharge characterization upgrade.

Previous Experience

  • A career national security professional, Mr. Robinson was most recently the Chief of Staff of a Washington, DC-based special operations unit. In that role he helped connect the Joint Special Operations Command to the American interagency, the intelligence community, think tanks, the private sector, and foreign military and intelligence partners. He has also worked at the National Counterterrorism Center where he helped draft the Obama Administration’s 2014 strategy to defeat the Islamic State. Prior to his time in Washington, DC, Mr. Robinson led soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan with the United States Army’s 101st Airborne Division.
  • Joint Civilian Service Commendation Award, awarded by the Commanding General, Joint Special Operations Command, on February 1, 2019.
