Many of these matters involve complex facts—for example, assessing the impact of government-directed changes to complicated technical specifications, or measuring and assigning responsibility for delays and disruptions that accrued over a period of months or years. In certain cases, like terminations for default or bet-the-company disputes, the stakes cannot be higher.
